Community Guidelines

Our shared
community rules.

ULIKME connects real people through real-world experiences. These guidelines define what it means to be a great community member — for users, creators, and venue partners alike.

Be Real & Authentic

ULIKME is built on trust. Every profile must represent a real person.

Identity Verification

During onboarding, you'll complete a one-time selfie verification to confirm you are the same person shown in your profile photos. This check uses a temporary, in-memory comparison — no biometric data is stored permanently. Our goal is simple: real people only, no bots or impersonators.

You should

  • Use your real name and an accurate profile photo
  • Complete the selfie verification during signup
  • Keep your profile information up to date
  • Represent yourself honestly in bios and content

Never

  • Create fake, duplicate, or impersonation accounts
  • Use someone else's photos as your profile
  • Misrepresent your identity to other users
  • Attempt to bypass the verification process
🤝

Respect Everyone

Every interaction on ULIKME should make people feel welcome and safe.

Zero Tolerance

Harassment, threats, or bullying in any form — in chats, posts, comments, or events.

Prohibited

Hate speech targeting race, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin.

Not Allowed

Unsolicited explicit messages, sexual content directed at other users, or unwanted advances.

Expected

Treat venue staff, creators, and fellow community members with the same courtesy you'd expect in person.

Remember: ULIKME is a real-world platform. Behavior that would be unacceptable in person is equally unacceptable here — whether in a 1:1 chat, a group chat, a community post, or at a live event.
🛡️

Safe & Appropriate Content

All user-generated content — posts, photos, videos, bios, messages — must meet our standards.

Acceptable content

  • Event photos, activity recaps, and community highlights
  • Class schedules, venue listings, and local experiences
  • Creator content, tutorials, and community stories
  • Constructive feedback and honest reviews

Prohibited content

  • Explicit sexual or graphic violent content
  • Spam, scam links, or deceptive promotions
  • Content that exploits or endangers minors
  • Unauthorized sharing of another person's private information
  • Misinformation designed to harm or deceive

Where these rules apply

These content standards apply everywhere on ULIKME: community posts, comments and replies, 1:1 and group chat messages, stories, profile bios, photos and videos, and any event, class, or activity listing.

🔒

Respect Privacy

Protecting your own and others' privacy is a shared responsibility.

Your face data is yours

ULIKME does not build a biometric database. The selfie captured during verification is used only once, processed in memory, and not retained. Profile photos you upload are stored securely on AWS S3 and are used solely for app functionality — never for advertising, tracking, or behavioral profiling.

Never share

  • Other users' private photos without consent
  • Personal contact details of other members
  • Screenshots of private conversations
  • Location data of other users without permission

Account deletion

  • Delete your account anytime via Settings
  • 7-day grace period before permanent removal
  • All photos, messages, and data fully purged after grace period
  • Cancel deletion anytime during grace period
🚩
